More information about the DeJoria Engagement Ring Builder

Browse and shop on a single page for your perfect non-conflict engagement ring. Our interactive diamond search is simple, concise, logical and user friendly.

As you can see, the page is divided into two sections. The left hand section requires you to input your choices, and the right hand section provides you with a summary of your selection.

First of all, you need to select the diamond shape you require. You can choose from round brilliant cut diamond, princess cut diamond, emerald cut diamond, pear cut diamond, marquise cut diamond and oval cut diamond. Each of these diamond shapes offers something different to the next. As you hover your mouse over each of the shapes, you will be presented with a pop up box providing some basic diamond information. For further information, you can click on the blue info button.

Depending upon the shape of diamond you select, this will then determine the various ring design options you are presented with. We have a wide variety of ring designs available for each diamond shape, and you can browse these designs by clicking the blue arrow beneath the thumbnails. All our ring designs are handmade in England and hallmarked by the British Assay Office. Hallmarking is a tiny stamp which is embossed into the inside of the ring which authenticates the purity of your precious metal. In Great Britain, and in Great Britain alone, hallmarking is a legal requirement. There are many different ring setting types, from prong settings to rub over settings. If you don't see a particular design that you like in our collection, please do let us know as we actually have access to hundreds of different ring design patterns and so the chances are that we can make it for you. When you click on a specific ring design, this will automatically generate a series of media options in the right hand box such as video rotations, virtual hand images, library photographs, diamond dimensions and packaging images, amongst others, which should help you in your decision making process.

Then select your metal. All rings are available in 18kt white gold, 18kt yellow gold and platinum. We use 18kt as, at 75% pure gold, this is the high standard used in England rather than 14kt in the USA. Then choose your required finger size. However, it is not critical that you choose something from the drop down menu, as you can always select "I don't know", as the price is not affected at this stage, and you can let us know the size at a later date.

You are then at stage 3 which is where you can select a diamond. First of all, clicking on the blue info button will reveal a large amount of detail which is useful when buying diamonds so do take a few minutes to peruse this and familiarise yourself with the subject. To define your diamond carat size, simply click and drag the left and right arrows. Naturally, the larger the diamond, the more expensive your package becomes. You can then define the diamond color and diamond clarity by clicking on the relevant box. You can select more than one box for color and clarity to keep your parameters broad, and to remove them from your selection simply click on them again. The parameters that you have selected will be displayed in a blue font.

The parameters that you define will generate a data grid of diamonds that are available. The data grid shows the basic information about the 4Cs of diamonds, and also shows you which diamond laboratory has graded the diamond such as the GIA for example. If the certificate type has a blue icon next to it, this means that by clicking it, you will be presented with a copy of the diamond's original grading report, outlining the full technical specification of the diamond for your interest. Once you have made your selection, simply click on the green arrow at the end of the row. You will then see your selection in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, next to a summary of your package.

Finally, simply click on the green ORDER NOW button which will add the ring to your shopping cart where you can then checkout.

We hope that you find our interactive diamond search interesting and useful. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 800-270-7434 if you would like any help or assistance at any time.
